A Masterpiece of Strength & Mythology
Feared and revered across Mesoamerican cultures, the scorpion was a powerful emblem of punishment, sacrifice, and protection. For the Nahua and Maya, its sting symbolized divine retribution, while in Mexica tradition, it was closely linked to Tlaltecuhtli, the goddess of the earth, and the gods of death. The scorpion was also associated with the God of Fire, representing self-sacrifice and transformation.

Words cannot describe this beautiful hand carved and beaded whale. I am drawn to whales and love wooden carvings and the beading was the icing on the cake! A truly beautiful piece well worth the expense. This was a gorgeous gift I gave to my mother and she adores it. I'll definitely be buying more in the future. It came intact with no damages, good packaging and product. My only true gripe if it even is one is that the color coding can be a bit troublesome when selecting the version you want.
