Let customers speak for us
from 8 reviewsThe axolotl alebrije I received is absolutely stunning! The colors are vibrant, the details are incredibly intricate, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. It’s clear a lot of care and passion went into creating this piece. It’s even more beautiful in person and has quickly become a favorite in my collection. Highly recommended!
Such a beautiful piece of art. Made with such care and attention to detail. It will not be my last purchase from Talokan Art.
Words cannot describe this beautiful hand carved and beaded whale. I am drawn to whales and love wooden carvings and the beading was the icing on the cake! The workmanship and patience in creating these pieces is ingrained in the beautiful wood and beading patterns. I have my eye on the elephant also. Another gentle giant. Highly suggest Talokan Art and praise for keeping their art alive.
Gifted it to a friend for his birthday, and both be and I were very happy with it.
A truly beautiful piece well worth the expense. This was a gorgeous gift I gave to my mother and she adores it. I'll definitely be buying more in the future. It came intact with no damages, good packaging and product. My only true gripe if it even is one is that the color coding can be a bit troublesome when selecting the version you want.
I received my hate sculpture and it took my breath away with its beauty and intricate detail. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. So glad it went to someone who made this by hand with love.
I bought it for my girlfriend’s birthday and she absolutely loved it. She has always loved the ocean, especially Manta and Sting Rays and I feel great buying something that supports the arts and culture heritage.

Sustainability
In Talokán wood is a treasure that we value and make the most of. Every piece of wood that is not used in creating our main products finds a new purpose in our daily lives. We transform these leftovers into beautiful wooden jewelry, practical kitchen utensils, and we also generate sawdust that is used to heat homes andlivestock.

Cultural Heritage
In Talokán we keep the rich Huichol culture alive, which holds deep historical significance and represents the livelihood for many families in Mexico. Through Huichol art, we seek to remember and reaffirm our connection with nature. Every handmade piece we create is a tribute to this ancestral connection, capturing the essence of the flora, fauna, and natural elements that are integral to the Huichol worldview.
