In Aztec mythology, hummingbirds were believed to be the souls of fallen warriors, reborn in radiant form to continue their fight—not with weapons, but with their vitality and movement. Huitzilopochtli, the god of war and the sun, was often depicted as a hummingbird, representing strength, willpower, and the eternal cycle of renewal.

A truly beautiful piece well worth the expense. This was a gorgeous gift I gave to my mother and she adores it. I'll definitely be buying more in the future. It came intact with no damages, good packaging and product. My only true gripe if it even is one is that the color coding can be a bit troublesome when selecting the version you want.
